
Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences-Diagnostic Medical Sonography
The Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences-Diagnostic Medical Sonography is designed as a completion program for the registered radiographer, and prepares students to:

Employ basic patient care, professional judgment and communication and adhere to the professional codes of conduct.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of human gross and sectional anatomy, and pathophysiology relevant to the role of the diagnostic medical sonographer.

Perform sonographic examinations using technical knowledge and clinical skills.

Pass the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers examination.

Perform as competent entry-level general sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domain.
The Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences-Leadership is designed as an ON-LINE completion program for the registered radiographer, and prepares students to:

Communicate effectively in a variety of modes (verbal, nonverbal, written, and technological).

Critically examine political, socioeconomic, legal, ethical and global issues from a medical imaging perspective.

Synthesize, evaluate and conduct professional research in medical imaging.

Demonstrate leadership and competence in promoting and influencing professional development and professional excellence.
The Associate of Applied Science in Radiography prepares students to:

Apply effective communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills in clinical situations.

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations using technical knowledge and clinical skills while demonstrating quality patient care.

Provide care indicative of high ethical standards and professional growth and development.

Function in the health care community as a professional and competent entry-level radiographer.
